The Red Barn App is here!!!

THE RED BARN APPLICATION

I have finally gotten the Red Barn Application made! It links to the Red Barn website, where you can see all the updates and links about what is happening in the store!

There are several ways to install this application. FIRST, let me say that it IS NOT available in the Google Play market, or Itunes market.  I've tested this app for an android phone, and it works. I will later show you how to install it to your ANDROID phone. Because it is an .apk android file, IT WILL NOT WORK ON IPHONES! (So, because of cost expenses to develop a certified iTunes app and upload it to the iTunes market, you won't see that in the near future...get an android phone *smiles*). If you are familiar with installing 3rd party apps onto your phone, retrieving an installed file, and installing a file then here is the link so you don't have to read all this below:

Ok, to get started to install on your android phone:

1. Because it is not registered on the Google Play market, it is 3rd party software and you need to give your phone permission to install it: Go to your Settings and Security and put a check mark in the box next to Unknown sources if it is not present:

2. Your phone will put a warning sign up. Press OK and exit out. This file WILL NOT GIVE YOUR PHONE A VIRUS NOR WILL IT MESS UP YOUR PHONE:

From that page, you can download it.  If you are wish, you can go to the link via your computer and scan the QR code from your computer screen that will download it to your phone. I've provided several ways to download it! 

4. What am I downloading? It is called "TheRedBarnElwoodNE.apk" file: an application file.  You will see in your notification bar (at the top of your phone indicating the download with a down arrow). Then it will be available once you pull down your screen. Pull down your notification screen:

PRESS ON THE FILE.

It will ask you if you want to install the application, press on Install. You can open it from here of press Done.

5. Now, because it is not a self-installing application from the Google Play market place, it will not have an automatic icon placed on your desktop screens.  You will need to go into your apps and find it, and put it on your home screen:

Completion: You now have an app that will link to our website to see all the news and info! **After the download and installation is done, I advise going back into your Settings, Security and taking the check mark OUT of the unknown sources box, and exiting once again.
